Even the most casual of glances through the "simcha services" section of any newspaper will tell you that the one thing the world of simchas, events, dinners, and concerts does NOT need is another band. Which is good, because we founded Freilach to be anything BUT just another band.

For starters, we realized we didn't want to make a statement, we wanted to make music. We wanted to capture that special essence - the "soul" of a simcha or event - and then use our musical abilities and experience to enhance it, not dominate it.

Soon guests were realizing that they were hearing "different" for the sake of being better, not just "different" for the sake of being different.

In short, people realized they were finally hearing music.
